Casting Call

I ran across a cute bit this morning on one of the radio stations where they were casting the Anna Nicole Smith movie. You know this is right up my alley. I love playing mini movie mogul by engaging in dream casting. So, I had to take it a step further. I cast the Hollywood blockbuster version, Lifetime movie and the independent film.

Here are my casting choices:


Hollywood Blockbuster

Angelina Jolie as Anna Nicole Smith

She could tap into her former angst and madness to channel this character. We would just need to work on getting the right shade of blonde. I was thinking Hilary Swank because of her enormous rack but I think she’s too toothy and it would be difficult to transform her into a natural looking blonde.

Brad Pitt as Larry Birkhead

I just thought it would be fun to have them in this movie together. It would be the ultimate box office feat. Jude Law could also work.

Ed Norton as Howard K. Stern

He can play creepy stalker attorney quite well.

Kathy Bates as Virgie Arthur

I could see her as the ultimate trailer park mom to a Playmate.


Lifetime

Denise Richards as Anna Nicole Smith

She’s not my favorite but she could work this role on this level.

Simon Baker as Larry Birkhead

Gorgeous and we can afford him on our TV budget.

Adrian Pasdar as Howard K. Stern

Diabolical on Heroes and perfect for this character.

Judith Light as Virgie Arthur

Plays a great lush on Ugly Betty.
